Tried the batlab procedure, but there is no
"Add Mode Utility" function in the RSS I got, am I missing something?

You won't find one... are you sure you did the correct mod? Sounds like you were looking at the maxtrac mod or something.
In the HT1000 RSS, individual personality (where you adjust the frequency), in the upper right-hand corner there is a Yes / No question or command. (Can't remember the name off the top of my head...) Make sure that is set to yes to enable the channel. All I can say is review the HT1000 page again and check your work....
Hope this helps

If it looks like the MT1000 RSS anyway, I believe the phrase is "add channel" and it may have an "F-x" key as well, it will add the next numerical channel. edit the info you want in and the "add channel" agian and it will give you the next channel in line. Make sure you save it to "file".

Sorry to say Pascar, that the HT1000 RSS is NOT like the older MT1000/HT600 RSS.
In the HT1000 RSS on the channel screen in the space to the right of the channel number is a space that says "Programmed No" change that to Yes and that should enable the channel and on each channel added.
