Can anyone provide the part number for the molded accessory connector for the Waris-series radios? I'd like to manufacture my own programming cable.
Thanks in advance.

Hi:
Hate to be the bad guy, but parts for the:
RKN4074A HT750/HT1250 Program Cable:

FORGET IT / Not Availible / Nada /
No support/ Must be similar to the
radio product !! / you can tell I am
*issed

Seems the supplier of this cable has
chosen NOT to supply any support parts.
This is going along with Motorola's
Short fall in supporting the customer needs
AGAIN.
FYI: The HT1000 Pin looks pretty close, but
I have not had a chance to take one apart
and review them to see if they are Exactly
the Same.

So what connectors are these guys on eBay using in order to make a home-brew cable?
Surely they're not just hacking old speakermics - they're not that old yet.

The off brand pgm cables are just pins in a circuit board that you have to hold on the connector on the radio SOMEHOW!!!!!!
The ribless programming cable is the best bet as it does not have all the test connections on it and seems to be cheeper. There is also a pgm only cable from //.
OFF BRAND programming cables mean corrupt "code plugs" and radios that become paper weights. Then you have to send them to Monte to be straightened out. The HT750 series are the worst for getting corrupt, it has happened to me even with factory cable, Rib and legal RSS!!!!!!!!!!

There was origionally a problem with the Waris series speakermikes. We had a notice at work to exchange all of our mikes at one point in time. Perhaps someone got a hold of the bad mikes in the exchange program. I don't know how this was being handled, just figured I would throw it out.
