I use it regularly, but only in conjunction
with tape, heatshrink, stacons, or scotchloks.
It also works well when weatherproofing RF connectors.

works good but i find it a little thin so i mostly use silicone sealant and heat shink together it works very well no failures yet and i live wisconson also known for its share of salt induced rusted out beaters (cars) a so much fun

we tried it once..it was messy, the rest of the bottle hardened very quickly..the seal it made was reasonable but hard to determine if all the air was forced out of the connection or if bubbles were present

bottom line..it was not good enough to replace glue filled heat shrink for watertight connections

"Cold shrink" tape works much better. It goes on thick, is watertight and doesn't crack. It also is clean to work with.
