How Do I Enter a Unit ID into this system?

There is an "Enter ID" Button, then red LED clock brings up a blank screen where I can enter an ID via the key pad under red LED display.
Want to put in ID# "1234" then console to display: "Car 123"

Anyone have manual or quick instructions?

Enter ID on the Centracom series is used for the Radio Check, Radio Inhibit etc controls. It has no bearing on the alias display that you want to do. That is entered by RSS at the CIB in your radio equipment room.
