Does anyone know if the headlight system in the 2002 chevy trailblazer is POSITIVE or NEGATIVE GROUNDED??

Headlight system is Negative ground, but Positive switched

It's always a negative GROUND. However, it may use positive or negative side switching.

Matt, You are incorrect. The headlight systems in the newer GM systems (for most models) are positive switched at the headlight switch in the vehicle and then reverse polarity at a relay module to deliver a switched negative side to the headlights. The headlights always have 12v positive to them.
So there for the headlight system is negative ground but positive switched (sort of)..

P.S. Not all vehicles use negtive as a ground, some commercial vehicles use the chassis as positive, and switch all appliances through a negative field.
