I was programming my MTS2000 with the 6.05RSS and during programming the radio locked up and the RSS lost connection, now then the radio powers up it reads fail 1/92 and I can not read nor program the radio. Any ideas on a fix rather then sending it to the depot and having a large bill?

Fail 01/92 is a fatal internal eeprom error. I don't know of a fix other than the depot flash tool. If the radio won't communicate with the RSS you are out of luck. You can try to dump the last good codeplug you have for the radio with lab no pack/unpack and see if you can force it. Otherwise, send it in to Motorola.

I know Monty on this board does some codeplug restoration and is good at making miracles happen. Maybe you should seek his advice before you send it to the depot.
