220 mHz data, any advice ?

Does anyone know of a current model that can be used ?
This is being considered for a ARES/RACES packet system,
to be used linking area hospitals and our county OEM.

The radios would need to be remoted (on the hospital roofs).
A single frequency is fine, a CDM 750 type radio would
be adequate if it could make 220 mHz.

Any thoughts?

the only M product that is in 220 is the CDM1550LS+

AAM25MHF4DP5AN, CDM1550LS+ 220, 1-25W 16CH

Here's the link w/ the specs:

hope this helps.

Hey thats pretty interesting news Werdnuts.

I will have to keep my eyes peeled for one of those. I've got a couple of GP300 220 Mhz portables from Korea.

I'm curious if anyone has seen one of these 222 Mhz CDMs, programmed one, used it, etc...

I imagine these are a rare find.

Jay

I'll post results

Jay, I'm still trying to determine if the 1550LS+ can be programmed above 223 mHz. If so, I'll post developments ......

We were able to do it in version 2.0, but the newest version dose not allow for it.

The factory is the only ones who can blank the board if the Tanapa number capatable with the firmware.
