Hello,
I have two HT1000 portable radio's. One model is H01KDC9AA3DN and the other is an H01KDC9AA3BN. The DN model will accept a programmed frequency of say 155.1275 but the BN model will round up/down the .1275 to .128 or the next "usable" frequency. What is needed, if anything, to make the BN model work with the 155.1275 input?
Thank you for any help.

Take a look at the RSS settings. Sounds like
you might have the DN radio set up for 12.5
channel spacings ? If this is the case set up the BN for 12.5 to accept your frequencies.

Hi,
Both the BN and DN radio IF bandwidth are set at 25/30 khz.
When I press F1 (help) over the frequency field, both helps read: input frequency must be divisible by 6.25 or 5.0 khz.
All settings and wording between the two radio's as far as I can tell are the same. Is this a hardware difference? I'm thinking it might be, but if someone knows please let me know. Thanks

You are correct, the help file is the same for both radio versions.
In the channel screen, go to channel options and set the IF Bandwith to 12.5 khz and go back and enter the frequency. If it does not take it then the controller will not do the inbetween steps.

I will try it next week. It doesn't make sense that both the BN and DN radio's are set to 25/30 in the IF bandwidth field and the DN radio accepts the frequency but not the BN radio. If the 12.5 setting was needed, then both radio's should not be accepting the frequency. Why would this be? Thanks, Dave.
