I have a VHF MT1000, model number H43GCU7100CN.

Where can I find information on decoding the model number? Batlabs model information doesn't include info on the MT1000.

Well, what do you want to know? Is this it?

4 = high power, 3 = low power
3 = VHF (as you already pointed out), 1 = low band, 4 = UHF
GCU7
100 = 16 channel, this is the odd one in the series. 180 = 8ch., 160 = 6ch., 190 = 99ch., 130 = 32ch.
CN = has a wide split (136-162 or 146-174), last revision

Is CN the last known revision/upgrade for the MT1000 ?

Also wondering how to program the databurst in the MDC version.

Thanks any help.

The MDC encoder is in the "MDC front cover". So, you need to have rhe "MDC front cover" on your radio. The area below the speaker is fatter and houses the MDC encoder electronics board, and some MDC fronts have the EMERG button on the top edge..
