anyone know what kind of power supply I'll need for this beast?

without the rest of the nuke transmitter, its pretty useless..

the station control even sets the output power, so unless you have a nuke you want to replace the amp on, wont do much good.

I'm hoping i can just fake the power control input signal. If it's just a voltage. If it's a data stream, then i'm in trouble!

im looking in the nuke book, but the amp will need 28.6v @ 16.4amps... (atleast thats whats coming out of my 300w version)

Also the drive is 13dbm from the exciter to the IPA (1-10w out)and the PA is controlled by the exciter, and looking at the book, the TX power control voltage is a loop from the harmonic filter/coupler back to the exciter (the Tx power control circuitry, which then feeds the IPA and Final AMPs)

the service manual was only sent to moto shops, but the user manual gets pretty detailed..

i have the 900Mhz 300w version, but the book covers the low power 900 station as well..

its part num is 68P81000F10-A

Does the user manual have schematics, etc, so i can replicate this power control loop, or do i need the service manual.. the service manual has no part number? thats weird

it has a block diagram, ill dig in there later tonite and see if the connections are labled, i know on the backplane it lists the pinouts..

there was a service manual, but from what ive been told, it wasnt made available to be purchased, and even replacement modules were hard to get.. seems motorola wanted to do things themselves.
