Fuse Block Connectors

I'm looking for male blade connectors to fit into the "mini fuse" blocks on most newer vehicles. I'm getting sick of seeing alot of nearby installers stripping the wire back and jamming it in there. Let me know of any suppliers! Cheap!

I even like seeing these "installers" use the proper fuse taps to install strobe supply or somthing else that pulls 15 amps onto the wiper fuse that's only supplied with a #18 wire.
It's always interesting to se what happens when the strobes AND the wipers are on and this #18 wire tries to supply 30-35 amps.

Fues taps should only be used to activate ignition switched relays.
TESSCO has both standard and mini fuse taps for blade type fuses.

I have been using "pigtail fuses" from Tessco - They work very well for tapping fuse boxes. I use a test light to find the load side of the fuse, and use the accessory wire from the fuse to feed a regular bosch relay to power whatever I am looking to switch. Works VERY well! No damage to the fuse box at all.

I have twice seen customer installs for the high power transmitter in Ford heavy trucks that tapped into a 12 volt source in the junction panel behind the passenger seat- using the feed for the LOW side of the 2-speed axle. The drivers were somewhat miffed that they had to slow down enough to downshift the axle to transmit.

Easiest way I've done it is to go to a nearby junkyard and pull a few...you can't cut them as long as ya like...most places will give them to ya for free...

Hate to admit it but I've been using Radio Shack's fuse taps. They have
them for the large and small type automotive fuses.
