Hi all, sorry this is off the topic of Motorola but, I was recently digging through a box of old radio stuff, and I found an old Regency HX1000 scanner. It is a big unit (thicker than the p200) and can hold 30 channels. I was just wondering if anyone else had any experience with this radio, and what your comments are on it.

Thank you

I have one from 1985! Not a bad scanner. 30Mhz. to 174Mhz. & 440 to 512mhz. holds 8 "AA" size nicads in the rear bottom. Still works, even the clock! Need a copy of the ops manual? send me a PM.. Ed
