I recently aquired a couple of C9 UHF Spectras.

I'm wondering if there is any difference in the physical control heads - Will a normal A9 head work with a C9 radio?

I believe it will, but I just want confirmation before I go mucking around.

What are the model numbers for the heads?

I have no idea as to what the previous model head was, but I believe the one I'm using now is a HCN1063A. I'd have to go out to the car and look.

It is a spectra head, I just wasn't sure if the C9 head had different firmware or not.

You ought to be okay, but say the head came from a Syntor X9000 then you would have some issues. Otherwise, with the exception of the ASTRO, all Spectra S9000E heads should be swappable.
