Looking for current draw on pa300 siren.

Also would like wiring diagram the unit i have is older not sure date but diagram on FS and Galls website is different.

And is it possible to remove the PA mic and/or make it a plug in mic.

HI I have put a plug on a pa 300 but it was a real pain, what model do you have, and does it have a black or silver face, and does it have hi-lo or piercer

Its a Black Face with Hi/Lo. I don't see any date on it the label on bottom does say FS University Park.

If you have looked on the Federal Signal site, then why are you asking here. Go back there and get what your looking for. They have the specs, installation manual and the likes.

By the way, the current draw on wail for the 200 watt version is 10 amps.

An easy way to figure out amperage is to take the rated wattage, divide it by the voltage, and you have the approximate amperage.

Example: 200 watts/12 volts= 16.67 amps max
100 watts/12 volts= 8.34 amps max
