Has anyone ever tried the "iLINK" system. If you don't know what it is, it's a Internet to Radio link. Basicly you go to http://www.aacnet.net and download thier free software (small program), order a interface board (under $60), wire to your radio and computer, and tadaa!, your linked to other radio links all around the world! You can also use your computer's mic and speakers to talk. I have used it for 2 days now, and I love it. I will be ordering a board on Monday to hook up to my ham radio repeater. Everyone I have talked to (Texas, Ohio, California, Italy, Aulstrailia, Germany, Canada, ect.) all say it works great for them with little or no problems after seting it up. Give it a try. When you get it set up, call me, #7577 This program is for HAM OPERATORS ONLY sorry it's the law.

Yea i just tried it. its great!!!! I live in a basement apartment under a municipal building and am not allowed any outdoor antennas. i have been off the air for a year. Now i can get on local repeaters thru the internet without the need for cables and antenna. Now if someone would start streaming the local pd on the internet then i would have it made.
