NiMH in a NTN4734A Saber charger?

It'll charge the battery and it won't blow up, if that's what you mean. That battery was designed before there was a special purpose NiMH charger, IIRC, and a standard charger does work fine on my NiMH batteries.

Thanks, Elroy! I picked up a W&W pint-sized NiMH (1000MAh?) today for an "around town" battery, and started wondering only after I plopped it in the charger.

No smoke yet!

I use a NTN 7014A NMH, never had a problem in regular chargers

its fine in moto charger,just never put a
lithium in a non lithium charger
BIG SMOKE....like a aftermarket pcs/cell.
