Does anyone know the source for the vibrators that //otorola puts in their pagers? My boss has an idea for a product here at work which would utilize one. A search on the internet under "vibrator" brings up the "OTHER" types....LOL!!!!!

Thanks for the above replies, but perhaps I wasn't clear enought on my first description of what I'm looking for.
Some pagers have a silent vibrate function to indicate an incoming message. This small vibrating device is what I'm looking for.
Thanks,

Just like I said, they don't want anyone's business.
Try this url:
http://www.pagecorp.com/acb/webpage.cfm ... bPage_ID=4
It will get you in to look around.
Remember, though, to order something you will need to get an account number. Honest. They are a "Business to Business" site, and want to make sure they stay that way.
Oh, yeah, and they want $50 minimum order, exluding s/h. Oh, well, I've seen higher minimums.
PS: check a look at their pager crystal prices!

Interesting... I didn't know that you could go through a 3rd party to get the software...
Paging > PROGRAMMER > MOTO > ADVISOR
Select Product: (2 Products Found)
Part Number Description Price
PRMHC25 Programmer - Motorola Advisor (Cradle) $80.00
PRMHS25 Programmer - Motorola Advisor (Software) $65.00

Why not just buy the vibrator motor from Motorola parts?

[email protected]
I hate trying to look up "amateur" radio, I always get the "other" pages and lots of junk mail.

Yes Alex, you can purchase Motorola PAGING software from any dealer. In fact there is a website that lets you download it for free. (not sure if it's legit to download it for free though)
Most paging products have a kit number that includes BOTH software and cradle. Saves you about $25. The only exception so far was the talkabout T900 that I've seen.
