Info on MTS 2000 VHF/UHF band limits ...

Open MTS2000.exe in Hex Workshop, the frequencies are in Hz and coded as Intel unsigned long.

In other words 174 MHz = 174000000 = 80075F0A

The start address for each table below is in hex:

003BCF34 136 403 450 825 290 136 136 146 403 450
003BCF7C 136 403 450 825 290 136 136 146 403 450

This is a major feat - you should be commended. I just tried it and it worked real well. Have you had any luck with the pro-radio software?

I'm familiar with a hex editor, but can you describe in more detail what this does?

I've been asked about the 800/900 MHz band limits - well they are scattered through the file and are not so easy to document as the VHF/UHF limits.

However the same format is used to code the 800/900 MHz limits and it is relatively easy to find what you're looking for once you establish the limits for your particular model.
