I'm getting ready to install a galls street thunder GS-100 but I dont have a bracket for it. I called galls and they have the bracket, and it only costs $9, BUT its gonna take at least 6 weeks to get here, and I need to get this install done. Does anyone have one, or know a way to fabricate a bracket???

Not to sound smart, but..

Get a piece of aluminum stock, bend it and drill it to your needs, and install it.

Not rocket science.

Which brings me to:

Don't use ANYTHING that is Gall's brand. You can't get anything for it. You can't even get a blue rocker switch for their new switch panels. Besides, a good brand only costs a few bucks more.

If you were a cop, would you carry a Gall's brand gun or wear a Gall's brand vest if they made it? If Gall's sold their own brand SCBA, would you want to use it in your FD? Though so.

Another note is that in a fire vehicle, I wouldn't want to use it at all. It only takes one accident during an emergency response to have some attorney find out that your apparatus has a non-DOT compliant siren. If you are in an NFPA regulated state, you may also need NFPA on this siren.

These might be good fora volunteer's personal car, but they really don't belong in a fire truck.
