It is quite easy for user to not notice when they've recieved a private message. So, to make sure they notice the private message, some users (me included) will post a topic to get another users attention to the message's in their "box". Well, why?

Why can't the "You have a private message" that is under the mass of links be more noticeable. Say, H1 heading? Say, blinking(read: evil) text? Say, an obnoxious variation of red? Maybe even an animated gif?

But, please, whatever happens, could this tiny, difficult "You have a private message" text become easier to notice?

My 2 cents.
