I have a remote mount C7 Spectra 800mhz radio. Model Number: T45KGA5C7AKSP01. I have type IIi systems and type II systems in the radio. Now... here's the question. On one particular type IIi system I get studdered audio every so often. Its almost like the VCO isnt locking or something like that. I honestly have no idea what is causing it or what to do to correct it. Perfect audio from the type II systems. It just seems to be the type IIi system causing this problem. Any ideas?

Thanks for your help everyone. This is a great board and I'm learning so much!

I have that problem ALOT. The system I monitor is simulcast to several sites and depending on where I'm located, I will have a similar problem on some channels. One conversation will be fine and the next distorted. I attribute my reception problem to being between two or three sites and where one of the transmitters is out of alignment then I'm hearing a mixed signal.

The other possibility is that on certain channels, you're getting intermod from a Nextel site. I have that problem too when I'm near nextel's sites.

Hope that helps you out some.
