Anyone know if this vehicle charger will "kill" or "overcharge" a battery?

Are there key words to look for to find a good charger?

Oh man, i remember when we had those in the fire trucks in the department i volunteered for in high school.

Damn those elastic straps if you're not careful.

But they worked fine for the most part.
Just dont use them for cup holders. (Or especially CAN holders)
