am i the only person who cant programm out of band using the shift down method or what?
my radio is a p94ypc00d2aa and i am using rss ver r08.01.00 and i was trying to get it down to 433.100 our local 70 cms repeater
but it just says invalid frequency when i let go of the shift key and press enter
where am i going wrong ????

Are you letting go of the shift key when you type in the decimal? Also, are you filling in ALL of the zeros with the shift key held down? The frequency you want should look like this if done correctly: $##.!))))

9 characters, including the regular decimal point.

I just did one after reading your post to verify it works, and it does. The only difference is that I'm using RSS v8.02.00 but that shouldn't matter.

hi there todd tanks for reply it turns out
i was using the wrong version of rss so i now got r07.00.00 and it works fine so you really do learn something every day ok thank again for speedy reply catch y later

oh one more thing.... we i press shift and say 3 (for 433mhz) i get the pound sign i needed to change to english american keyboard layout !!so i get the hash sign
