Batboard

I'm installing (well, a friend of mine is, really, but anyway) a Jedi series MTVA in my 2000 Taurus. It's all wired, installed, etc, but the charging light, speaker, etc won't work. Does anyone have a manual for these they may be able to e-mail to me, or any advice? He is getting 12VDC at the control head, but only 1.01 volts off the first contact by the battery (looking at the unit, it's the one on the left hand side). No power from any of the other pins.
