Now if someone could get me that info on a 2004 Exploder XLT, I'd be a happy man...

What info do you need on the Exploder?

Issue #1) There is a large relay box mounted in the right rear inner quarter panel, to the rear of the subwoofer and forward of the right taillight.
It has at least 3 harnesses going in/out of it, and there is zero documentation about what circuits go into that box. I'd like to get a schematic of that. I ordered ours with the Trailer prep package, so I'm guessing my trailer wire harness is one of these and the brake/running lights is more than likely another.
I was playing around with the supplied wiring diagram for the trailer brake controller, and found out there is a 30A circuit (hot in RUN only) that goes out to the trailer wire harness on the receiver. How convienent that there is a 30A feed in back...but I don't know WHICH harness it is in the quarterpanel at this relay panel!
We don't own a travel trailer or boat, so I have other ideas in mind for that power feed.
Issue #2) Under the removeable center console cubby tray/cupholder (the piece that the JottoDesk CC-EX replaces) are 3 unused wire harnesses that are mounted to the lower half of the console. What are these for?
Issue #3) Inside the overhead console where the maplights/sunroof switch is, there is a 2 wire harness that dead ends there...is this for the optional HomeLink unit? I found it when I pulled the console down to mount 2 18" Littlelites just behind the sunroof switch. It's a great spot to mount them, BTW...
Kudos to Ford for having these harnesses installed regardless of trim level...I just need to know what they are. I'm interested in the wiring diagrams so I know what harnesses do what, so that in my mods/add-ons I know what harnesses to use and what to stay away from.

The box in the rear is for the "MUX" system and also is a power distribution and relay center that ties into the serial bus. It controls much of what's in the rear of the vehicle, including some rear lighting. The trailer wiring does come out of this unit. You can safey tie a light load into the power feed. I tie the Sound-Off backflasher B+ into this to keep this unit powered up in the event of a main emergency equipment power feed interruption. If tying into this feed, make sure you solder and shrink tube the joint.
In the console console, I know that at least one is for an optional power plug (there's already one standard power plug on these). I'm sure the other ones are for some navigation, sound system or some other digital electronic toy!
Overhead console...couldn't tell you. I never had one apart to have to figure that one out.
Most of these random #20 power feeds throughout the cars are fine for maplights or such. Just make sure they really are direct to 12V and not switched through something.
