Any suggestions on installations in an 03 Subaru out back? Best place to Install Antennas (No Sunroof), Run Power?
Thanks
Mike

I've just traded my '00 OB for an '04. I had two NMO mounts on the '00, put in by a two-way shop, and ran the power from the rear power outlet for the IC208, and from the front outlet for the cellphone, the box for which sat under the passenger's seat.
The main 208 unit was, and is again, mounted to the rear storage pocket cover on the left side of the car, with the control, speaker, and mic cables run to the front of the car where the control head fits neaty in the open console shelf with plenty of foam packed in behind it.
The cable run is easy after you take out all of the trunk flooring and raise the back seat cushion. I used a piece of split foam tubing to get the three cables from the back seat to the area of the console, with a small speaker stuck into the bottom of the console.
The only safe way to drill the roof is to lower the headliner and check for the exact locations of the cross braces, which is why I have it done by a shop. The new car will get this done a week from today, and I'm leaning to a single hole this time, with the cell phone served by an on-glass antenna.
The new car is a 5-speed in Seamist Green with Titanium cladding. The old car was one of those white jobs with the Titanium.
Let me know if I can be of further help.

Tom,
Thanks for the info. I think I am going to have to run a straight A lead to the cargo area rather than use the acessory outlet. Im planning on installing a lowband maratrac there. Also that little storage compartment below the AM/FM how does it come out?
