HT1550XLS SIGINALING SQUELCH

Post by J_L_COHEN »

hi guys im trying to figure this out but no luck, on my gp300 there was a setting called signaling squelch, so you would hear nothing on that channel unless you push the mon button or our tones go off, but i can not find it in the programing for a 1550 (r6.00) what i am trying to do is put a second primary dispatch channel on my radio so at night i will not hear all the talk from other departments unless our tones go off,
any help woud be great

thanks jeffrey

I'm farely sure that signalling squelch you're talking about in the GP300s was just Call Alert w/ Voice exclusively on the channel.

In the HT1550XLS, the equivalent should be setting Personality -> Signalling -> Signalling Squelch to "And".
