This is saying that your "CORE" (transceiver microprocessor) has an internal EEPROM checksum error.

My Saber Programming manual says to try several attempts at reprogramming it. Then it says the microprocessor must be changed.

"MONTY" on the forum here has a great amount of experience from what I have seen in dealing with these type of problems.

Hope you were using the correct speed computer and software?

I use an older 386 IBM DOS machine and it works well.

First time I use 486 PC with 80MHz. Now I set jumper on main board to 50 MHz but nothing change. It's still error.

Thank you anyway.

Thank you very much for both Ed and Monty. The problem was solved. First time I use RSS R05.00 and get an error. After change to R07.01.00, the radio was back to normal.
