I remembering seeing in one of the fourms I frequent but cant find it again.

THe device was a replacement light for the 3rd breaklight on a tahoe.
It added turn and hazard support of the 3rd brake light. Not sure if it was a home brew or commerical device but would like to find the article again. Anyone remember it here or know of such a unit?

Yes, 911ep makes one, it's the 911ep LS12STT LED light, also doubles up as warning light.

I used to have the WL28 from 911ep and remember hooking it up to my breaklights as well. It was pretty nifty.
