I have an MCS2000 800mhz modelIII radio,when I read the codeplug the first time in dos r.05.05.00 i got a checksum error and the radio displayed fail 01/92, The model # now displays ABCDEFGH01234567 and no serial#, I tried using lab for mts to force the original codelpug back in the radio usng f4 w/o pack unpack, I get an error saying "SELBFT TEST" "EfaIL01/92" .
Since this didnt work I put an MTS codelug in the radio and didnt get any errors except the radio woulnt recieve.
