After "RF Tst" appears on the display, press the orange top button once. "1 CSQ" will appear, indicating: test frequency 1, carrier squelch mode. Each additional press of the small button you used to get into test mode will advance to the next test channel. There are 6 or 7 different sets of test frequencies, depending on if it's a VHF, UHF, or 800/900 radio. Pressing the middle small button scrolls through various different functions on each channel, such as CSQ, TPL, DPL, Low speed data, High speed data, DTMF, etc...only good for testing with a service monitor, really. None of the frequencies is simplex either, so no go for using this test mode for Visars or MTX-800's.
The "CH TST" is accessed by pressing the top small button once "RF TST" is showing on the display. This mode will test all the buttons on the radio, by showing a numerical value for every button you press, showing an "X/1" while pushed, and an "X/0" when released. Holding the orange button down will illuminate all display lights & segments. Have fun.

If you have the RSS you should be able to go into the service alignment screens and see what the test frequencies are there - I believe they would be the same.

I don't have a VHF model radio handy to confirm Alex's thought, so I'll list them anyway:
TX#1 136.025 RX#1 136.075
TX#2 142.125 RX#2 142.075
TX#3 154.225 RX#3 154.275
TX#4 160.125 RX#4 160.175
TX#5 168.075 RX#5 168.125
TX#6 173.975 RX#6 173.925
TX#7 177.975 RX#7 177.925

It's a pre-set tone, I'm not even sure which number it represents, never thought to check it.
