I cant read it with any rss i have for maxtrac not 300 not trank
can someone help me locate this model?

Is it the same radio that you started this post about five years ago? If not, you should stick ro the other post you started and give more info about the radio you are trying to program.

last time i succeded in reading it
now i got this error at the end and the rss does not remember the codeplug

How old is the radio (what are the three letters in the serial number)?

The older Maxtracs used a NOVRAM to store the codeplug, which is basically some RAM with a battery built into it, after a number of years the battery goes bad. By now any that had the NOVRAM will be old enough that it will be bad. If you have one of those, that might be the problem. If you have the radio open you can see if it has the NOVRAM by looking in the shielded area on the logic board, it would be a black module, probably says DALLAS on it, like these:

and the error i get after i finish geting the codeplug is

"number of conventional personalities exceeds the maxsimum number allowed for this module"

but is does not keep that download codeplug.

do i have a way of capturing it with sniffer or somthing else?
