Need make RPT cross band for msf5000 and Maxtrac 800 Trunk

I have Msf 5000 vhf base and maxtrac 800 trunk how I can make it for cross band rpt.

Cross-linking where one radio is trunked is very problematic (since trunked radios do not generate some of the electrical signals needed). We have been sucessful linking a UHF and a trunked radio, bi-directionally, using something like an N200 fron NIDA. (Don't hold me to the model number; I'm not at my desk.)

A cheap and working so-so way was voice activated switch from each rx. I buffered the mic input down to accept the rx line output from each tone remote, connected to each a UHF and 800 MSF's. So the UHF remote VOX would trip the tone remote to ptt on 800 , and vice versa. Luckily we're on a conventional 800 pair.
So far been working for one week now with little problems. Virtually RF proof since the remotes are away from the trancievers.
