Is is legal to exchange codeplugs for the purpose of recovering radios? Example, I just bought a GTX (model number H11WCD4CU1AN) off E-bay, but the codeplug can only be read by the R 3.--.-- version RSS (or newer). Is it legal to obtain a codeplug from someone else and use it allow programming with older RSS? Thanks in advance.

Code plugs is not the RSS that big "M"

Motorola cries about everything but the code plug issue is something that their lawyers can't do anything about.

If Motorola had it their way, you would get charged eveytime you said "Motorola"
