Wig Wag DRLs in a NBS GM Truck/SUV?

Anyone done it? I know there are issues with wigwags on the main headlamp system, but what about on the DRL system?

Thanks for restating the title with the acronym Matt, really cleared things up! God help us when jim is getting confused on vehicles...

I've seen it done, it's a waste of time. They just aren't bright enough.

Robert, yoru welcome. If jim is supposedly a big install guy and does thousands of cars a year, he would know what a GM truck is.

Trust me, Jim is what and who he says he is. Your NBS acronym really didn't make a lot of sense. Your question was somewhat like asking about putting something in a "BMW car". What model, year,etc???

Oh...excuse me! I never heard anyone call it an "NBS truck", as I thought it might be some model that I am unfamiliar with such as the many flavors or Isuzu/GMC bastardized chassis that are out there.
Actually though, I do hundreds of installs per year.
Stop by and visit sometime. If you're lucky, there might be room to park in the midst of many Impalas, Vics and firetrucks.

Besides, I'm not the one that's on here every week asking everyone how to build my own vehicle or install something. I'm also not the one asking how to do a simple highschool vo-tech type task of installing wig wags. I am, however, one of about a handfull on the install forum that actually does know what they are doing...let alone what they are talking about. The rest of the knowledgeable handfull knows who they are, too.
Get a test light. Stick it in the headlight socket and see what is what. Switch the hi beams on and off and it will be apparent.
As for "NBS", you never answered my original question when asked what it meant. I have worked in the automotive field for 10 years as an ASE Master Tech before going into business for myself in 1996 and have never once heard ANYONE refer to anything as "NBS." Most people in the field call it "late model."
Gotta run...have 7 CDMs and PAs to get ready for a command unit.
