... place to get, online, antennas and such for public safety radio equipment? IE, a NMO mount for a VHF rig, etc? I've found lots of HAM sites, but generally been lazy in finding public safety stuff. Any good recommendations? Thanks! :>

Here. Post a wanted ad in the for sale/wanted section. There are a bunch of dealers here on the site that can help you out.

Thanks for the help though.

Well for wiring supplies check out
http://www.waytekwire.com/
If you are looking for any antennas or NMO's I don't think you'll get a better price anywhere else. Just post that your looking for something and one of the dealers will let you know what they have. Then you can keep buying from them later. Short of becoming a dealer for Maxrad or Antenex yourself I'd just buy from someone else on here, you'll never beat the price. I don't want to list names as I'll leave someone else but use the search button and you'll find the dealers, quite a few list their products in their signatures.

I am a dealer for most of the major brands. You can check out our line card at
http://www.waltel.com. We also just launched a new online ordering system at
http://shop.waltel.com. Some of the most popular items are on there right, and more are being added every day. It is really just a small fraction of what we sell.
You can PM, email, or call me and we can discuss your specific needs. I have several satisfied customers here on BatLabs.
Thanks,
Jeff

Most antenna products can be had from Tessco for dealer cost, not list price like many will try to charge you.

Regarding Tessco, their prices and pricing structure are not that great. You must buy a minimum of like $1000 to not pay list price, and then that price is well above dealer cost. Tessco is good if you are a large institution purchasing several thousand dollars worth of stuff every month from a variety of manufacturers. For the average Joe Two-Way, they are not that great. I'm not knocking Tessco. They were able to find a six-element phasing harness for a DB-212 antenna that is NLA from Decibel/Andrew. I just don't think that their target market is anyone looking to spend less than a grand per month on equipment.
And just so you'll know, I have never charged list for *anything* that I have ever sold. Furthermore, my antenna stuff is well below list.

Actually, most antennas and accessories are just a few bucks over dealer in Tessco.
I'm a Comtelco and Antenex dealer and Tessco's prices are close to dealer cost on most items.

But, can you call Tessco up randomly, order one cheap quarterwave antenna, and pay a few bucks over dealer cost? I am pretty sure that they require a hefty minimum order for any sort of price break off of list. Most people who are putting a few antennas on their car won't make that minimum order. Like I said earlier, Tessco has their place, but it's for people ordering large quantities of stuff.

FWIW, Tessco price breaks start at $250. Great selection and items usually ship within 24 hours.

What kind of account did you all set up with Tessco? I have been with them since 1989 and have always had to just make a $100.00 order to get the good pricing. There is no other company out there that can get me cheaper pricing on 90% of thier products that I commonly order. Anything I need they always find. Like the Communications Specialists model specific scrambler boards, my rep gets me those cheaper than dealer cost from Comm Spec. I'll never bad mouth them. Gotta give a thumbs up for Tessco. The thing I have learned is that you need to request a personal sales rep, thats the key.
