Hi,

Does anyone know what language the RSS is programmed in and what does it exactly do - I already know it programs the radio, but how does it do it?

I am slowly working toward a degree in computer programming and since I am familiar with the user end of the RSS and its relatively small size, I would like to learn more.

It depends on the RSS package, some are in compiled basic/runtime. The newer RSS/CPS seem to be in Visual Basic. I depends on which section group wrote it, it seems that the various groups DID NOT communicate because of the great differences in the RSS's.
