For Arizona, you go here! http://www.azfreqcoord.org/ Click on Applications, & instructions for applications. Then mail it to the if its ex: VHF the VHF Coordinator. Or whatever the band, you want to set up a repeater! After you get the green light, via email with your coordinator, your on a 60 day trial period, to see if theres any interference? Then after 60 days or so.if theres no problems or interference you get paperwork from the coordinator.... with all the info on your repeater..& basicly you become grandfarther'ed in ...or your repeater does....

For any public safety I use APCO I have found them to be friendly and usually helpful but I am shopping for your standard commercial coordinator you know the type (they answer the phone) & coordinate frequencies. (seems like lately all I get is voicemail or they will call you back & they never do. I guess they don't need my buisness) or one outFIT that I am using now has taken over a month to modify a customers license for 1 more repeater pair that I had already scouted out & recomended ( i got conditional approval yesterday to use it ) just seems like a long time to coordinate 1 channel pair????? JD

The last one I used was PCIA. I have no complaints and will use them again.
