Batboard

I recentely got a Minitor 3 UPI from 10-95, Model NRN8815B. I am in the process of trying to set it up. The RIB to Computer cable is presently out of stock. Any ideas, is it the Same as the RLN4008 cable? Also the RJ11 type cable is quite expensive, would a standard Phone cable work, or is there a specific wiring configuration. Anyone with any help would be appreciated, I hope to order everything I need in the near future.

I'm just using a standard 9 pin Female to 25 pin male RS232 cable that I got a the local computer store for about 6 bucks

The RJ11 cable is a no-brainer. Just make up a 4 wire cable with connector put on the same way on both ends.. in other words, most modular cables have a small rib running along on one side of the cable insulation.. so install the connector rib side towards the tab on both ends.
