FT 847 with Motorola Auto ant tuner F2260a

Hope this is the right place to ask the following help. Ive got an ft 847 and would like to connect it to a motorola auto ant tuner in my 93 explorer. There are 3 wires on the tuner at the following: pin 1 tune; pin 2 ch change: pin3 A+. In the 847 manual the following pins are:1+13v ;2-tx gnd: 3-gnd ; 4-data in ; 5-data out ; 6-tuner sense ; 7-reset ; 8-tx inh. I'd hate to connect the wrong wires and end blowing the thing up.
