I have never seen a rss programming cable for a spectra that goes through the mic jack. The only cables besides the mic that plugs in there is the keyloader cable and flash upgrade cable for astro spectra.
We had made one up years ago. It was very handy to be able to program the radio in the feild with out taking it out of the vehicle to get at the rear connector.
