Havis-Shields half console for bench seats.
Looks nice, but why are the radios sticking up so much from the console?
nice whelen toys as well.
and Kit, you're a wacker now

nice job. look at you reppin middletown on that CDM, w00t w00t!

hahah, all you gotta do now is flush mount those radios out and bury that wire for the wackerlight on the dash...just kiddin.

ahh yes. i may be a Whacker.but when the other wackers/(some legit business who plow) come up to me and say were did ya get dem fancy lights from i can sau well i sell em . and they say how much and then they say have anything cheaper i say no. and then explaine why i cosy a little more than lets say aw direct and stuff. and if you notice the meter i least do road service as well on plow and sand trucks
as for the keys. i was at Field day in the back field of one of the club members who also run CSP radio system. i dont think any one would just come up and steal it with out about 10 guys seeing whats going on.
what do you want to know about the tool box/back rack
that is a very common here in ct. back rack with the big C-Channel mounts with the UDS tool box and the back Rack ligh bar mounts
Posted: Tue Jun 29, 2004 2:00 pm
by KitN1MCC
well i did not flush mount them for a reson that yaesue is a deep radio and has fan on the bottom so i wanted the air space.
plus that console is 45 degree at the bottom so it has to stick out a little. plus when the arm rest is down i can dial the knob very easly by restin my arm on the arm rest when i am runnin 6m ssb mobile

I'll contribute to that. If I could find a radio that would do 42mhz, 39mhz, 154/155mhz,uhf and 800 trunking, plus the body wire and home detention cuff freqs and cell phone, I'd have one. But since I can't then I guess I'm a Wacker too.

ask cowthief, he has one. and it's front panel programmable with the Indictor encryption option, but the RSS is Arabic-only and can only be programmed on alternating weekdays.

Don't tell the Sheriff. He'll think he needs one, and then I'll have to find it.
Maybe I can convince him that it isn't compatible with the magnetic resonance encountered in his Expedition unless we can install a mass-particle inverter that uses 3phase metric current.

Hey Kit --
Is the console mounted directly to floor or on a plate?
I just ordered one for my '01 Silverado, but the Company (Southwest Public Safety) forgot the faceplates, and now I have to order them elsewhere.
Anyway, wanted to know as I am looking to do something similar with my truck.
Looks good!

Great install !
What part of CT are you from, I could've sworn I've seen your truck around before. I'm from the Manchester area. I have a 2004 F-350 DRW, and just had a Spectra A7 UHF installed in it. Doesn't look as good as yours though

if you scope that screen, kits reppin middletown PD at the time....you've probably seen him around, i think he passed me once on 9s (recognizsed the truck from his post)...sounded like some crosby, stills, nash and young on the PA, scaring all us inner city ghetto children ...
other than that, i think he's chillin out of Old Lyme (according to yahoo)
hootie hoo!

I did that once myself on 9 as well when the truck was in full USSS mode. Late at night all I thought was....There could only be one person with a truck like that running amber cruise in this part of the world...
