Can anyone ID these Low Profile antennas, Sarasota County uses a 800mhz Motorola Digital System.
Anyone have any exprience with them, and do they come in black?
I am looking for something along these lines for an 800 mhz system, in black.

From the pic it seems to be an Antenex "Discadoo" but I can't swear to that. Most of the antenna manufacturers make a "disc" antenna in both unity gain and forward gain versions, depending on freq range. And yes, they're available in black also. Tessco and Hutton both have several listed in their catalogs but I don't know their policies on individual orders. Hit up the websites of the major antenna manufacturers and you should be able to get info and dealer locations.

It's kind of hard to tell from far away, But im fairly sure those are Larsen LP800NMOW's. They are also available in black (LP800NMO)

Also several people on the board can order the major companies for you. JohnWayne is one.

The Antenna Company, they make the best low profile mount antenna around but it isn't cheap. The Larson is large and the antennex discaddo is lower profile but does not work well. The antenna company unit is low pro, small and actually works well for it's size. Remember it is not as good as a 1/4 wave and don't compare it to that.

They are definitley Larsen LP800NMOW antennas. The Antenex are more rounded, while the Larsen have the tapered shoulder. You can get that exact model here in black or here in white.
