I have 2 MT2000 VHF 160ch radios and i cant believe/find out they dont do QCII. is this true or is it just me not finding it in the RSS? Also is it possible for these radios to decode MDC-1200? Thanks for any help, Donnie

Are you saying a MT2000 will do QCII encode and decode or just decode? I'd love to get my MT2000 to do QCII encode.

MT2000's will do QCII Decode only. They will not encode. I think the only one that would is the MTS2000, but I'm not 100% positive that with the right flashcode it would.

From my understanding, it's possible to "hack" the feature into the radio, however, I have not experimented with a MT2K controler. I know this can be done in a MTX8000 controler.

The MTS2000 is not capable of QCII encode, only MDC1200 Selcall.
