I have just recently tried my hand at hex editing the RSS to allow the MTX8000 to accept frequencies higher than it's default 865.9875 upper limit. I have followed the instructions on BatLabs, and the numbers have changed when viewing the .ODB file, but I still cannot program in any higher frequencies (same out of band error pops up). I would appreciate it if anyone with some insight to my problem could offer it, either on the board or off. Many thanks,

Todd

Jeezus...just to show everyone how stupid I can be...I had copied my entire MTSX directory to MTSXtest, so I could experiment on the .OBD file in that folder. I forgot that running the MTSX.bat file in that folder would still run the original MTSX program, not the hacked one!! Turns out my hacked version does exactly what I want it to. Thanks to Allan for his response off board as well.
