"Mounting" Tomar PLII in Pickup Truck Rear Window

I recently got a new Ranger pickup, and I was planning on mounting my Tomar Police Light II (via suction cup) in the rear window. However, I went to try that today only to discover that the light and its mounting hardware simply wont mount to a flat vertical glass surface.
Anyone got any suggestions and/or is there a different mounting bracket floating around out there that I could order?
I really like my Tomar and would hate to have to replace it...

Update: I've currently got the 3-suction cup mount. Anyone know if the single, heavy duty cup mount ( as seen here
http://www.tomar.com/pdf/pg051-6.pdf ) would work for my situation?
Thanks!

don't know - but where there's a will, there's a way! that's such a great light - you gotta be able to figure out something!

Duct tape and sheet metal screws! Fix anything! In all seriousness, you may have to look at using a bracket of some sort to make a mounting piece for the truck...and then mount the light bracket to said truck bracket.

Let me see if I still have any from back in the police install days, they made a mount for the in-car camera where it mounted to the windshield like the rearview, I liked to use two of the at a time depending on the weight and the driving experience of the vehicle operator, to mount deck style lights, where body or cosmetic reasons would not allow any other way.
Now thinking about it, I did have one that comes to mind, where I had to use three due to this guy really abusing the car, and would normally find the rear deck light torn from its wires, and laying in the back seat. He never could tear down three, but he sure did try.
