SP50 Error msg #2 with RSS?

I built the RIB box and trying to test it on a SP50. When I select F3(Comm Test) I get this error message: Serial Bus Error #2 - No Acknowledge.

I have the bias voltage from pin 4 shorted to pin 11 on the RIB. I also conected my logic probe to pin15 of the RIB and can see data activity when I press F3 comm test.

You may try changing to an incorect comport hitting F3 let it fail then reset the RSS to the correct comport and save. Then try F3 again... also make sure that your connections to your portable are good because I have seen this failure when the SP50 isn't setting just right in the cup.

I think I have the wrong RSS? It is ver R02.00.00

Can some on verify this for a Radius SP50?

Yep, that was it.....I acquired the correct RSS and everything works good now.
