Wiring diagram software

Anybody know of a software program that lets you create your own diagrams, schematics etc.? I just need something for automotive related applications, if that exists.

MS Visio works well, and is easy to learn if you've never used it before.

Visio just costs mucho dinero. You get a free 30 day trial if you DL it from Microsoft.com. It makes for great fire department map book software too, once you get the hang of it.
