Came across some minitor2 amp chargers today at the firehouse and they had some sort of DIN connection on the back that said accessory. My question is, would this be for connecting some sort of a relay that would control various outputs? Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks

That is correct, we have used them to activate a emergency public address system as well as to activate other things

Pin 1 - PA Audio
Pin 2 - Relay Contact
Pin 3 - Relay Contact
Pin 4 - Relay Select Line
Pin 5 - Relay Select Line
Pin 6 - Ground

Remote Speaker Audio (Pins 1 and 6)
You can connect an external 4 ohm speaker to provide both remote and external speaker audio.

Relay Dry Contact Closure (Pins 2 and 3)
When the the accessory relay is energized after, its contacts close and present a short across pins 2 and 3 of the din connector. The relay contacts are rated for 10 watts max at 28 volts dc/acrms. The closed contacts will handle 750 ma continous and switch up to 400 ma.

Relay Closure Timing Control (Pins 4 and 5)
These pins control how long the the relay contacts remain closed after an alert. Default is 10 secs. If you short these two pins together, the relay remain energized until the reset button is pressed.

I hope this helps. I had to dig for the specs on these things. I haven't played with one since 1990. The manual part # is 68P81106B10-A
