I hava group of Radius P1225 radios I want to add Quick Call II decoding to, I have the RSS. However, when I go to enter the QC IDs to 399.8 and 422.1 they automatically change themselves to 399.3 and 422.6, which is wrong for our system. Is there anyway I can force the issue on the radio?

Thanx in advance.

They will do that and I don't know why... they also do it with the Min III. However it should still decode.

Dont' worry, due to the way the microprocessor decodes the tones, those are the closest mathematical tones, but your tones are well within the tolerance and will decode fine

Also be sure you have the Quick Call option board in the radio for it to work. You can input the information, but without the board in the radio and installed in the software it will never alert for you.

The tones in the 6 P1225's we have constantly change too. I also update the tones everytime I go to change the codeplug otherwise they change everytime and keep getting farther away from the correct tones.

How would I know from looking at the radio if I have the apropriate option board?

Honestly I can't say for sure. If you open the radio up there should be some type of plug in board in there. Ours were previously set up. In the software I can tell you what it is set up like. Radio Wide tab then Advanced Options Option Board Protocol is set to: MOOIS 1.0 and Option Board Type is: Full Serial Interface. It looks like the Simple Select Call Board would work for QC. I don't have a 1225 here so I can't open one up now, but if you don't find what you are looking for I'll try to get at one.
